Lenten Series & Soup Supper
Feb 10th-Mar 16th 6pm-8pm
EXPLORE YOUR LAST LECTURE
Lent is a time of reflection and meditation. After this period of time we are supposed to be prepared for the next phase of our ministry. This Lent we will use Dr. Randy Pausch’s last lecture at Carnegie Mellon as our guide. If this was your final time on Earth, what would you want to share with others to make their life better?
What would be your last lecture?

WEEK 1: VIDEO (Achieving your Childhood Dreams)
WEEK 2: YOUR ACHIEVEMENTS (Never Give Up)
What was your finest moment? What was your greatest accomplishment?
WEEK 3: What were setbacks, disappointments?(Brick walls are there for a reason. They are there to prove how badly we want things)
WEEK 4: WHO YOU MIGHT WANT TO TELL YOU’RE SORRY, INCLUDING YOURSELF, ANOTHER PERSON, A GROUP, OR GOD?
• DO YOU MAINTAIN/HURT AND KEEP THE GRUDGE?
• ARE YOUR APOLOGIES SINCERE?
• DO YOU RECOGNIZE/ACKNOWLEDGE THE POWER of FORGIVING AND TRUSTING?
• WRITE AN APOLOGY LETTER (you don’t have to share it with others)

Week 5: (Helping others achieve their childhood dreams) THIS LETTER WILL BE OFFERED WITH PRAYERS, THEN BURNED DURING A FIRE CEREMONY
WEEK 6: YOUR LAST LECTURE – WHAT WOULD YOU SAY?? (When you do the right thing good things happen).
Food sign up sheet is located outside the office.
